 VENUS:

Improvements

 NEPTUNE:

Improvements
  • Scheduler now supported on multiple machines
  • The engineering data (latest readings only) comes directly from the driver, bypassing the database.
  • (((More data definitioin for VPS viewer - DMAS-5932)))
  • The BPR driver has minor modification so it responds correctly to the confirmation prompt.
New Features
  • The Nortek ACMs and the RDI ADCP on the LBOx has the voltage data parsed for trouble shooting of the instruments. This request was made by the PIs from IOS.
  • VPS Viewer with two tabs - Platform Controller and Instrument Package.
  • Added function to WetLabs FLNTU driver to open and close the bio-wipe shutter at a configurable interval.
  • Added manufacturer feedback on derived value calculation for Pro Oceanus 22773.
  • Add "compromised" to sensor names and remove commissioning flag for WET Labs 20221.
  • All pages and services should only display or work with instruments that were at some point part of the current network the user is browsing. Eg. VENUS, NEPTUNE, and Brentwood College.
  • Added time-stamped annotations on all resources that have a user interface - eg. sensors.

  • Camera control through Java Management Extensions (JMX) interface for SysAdmins
  • Many Plotting Utility enhancements:
    • Cross-browser support (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)

    • Plot to PNG,
    • edit chart style & colours,
    • text panel clearly indicates if readings are averaged; "Coming soon" deleted
    • On-hover reticle displays devicename, sensorname, sensor reading and timestamp

  • Data Search displays data availability in different colour when site changes (green for current site, grey for past sites)
  • [Device Console|http://dmas.uvic.ca/DC] (new): right-click on column headings to show/hide/rearrange and multisort. User preferences are saved to database

  • Plotting Utility time offset causes plots to 'disappear'

Improvements

  • Significant changes to User Interface of CodeRunner, also optimized web services.
  • Disable old 'admin menu' landing pages. Menus are now populated based on user group permissions.
  • Reverse Sort Dives in SeaTube. Menu sorts much faster, with most recent dives first.
  • "Location" drop-down populates much faster in Plotting Utility, Data Search.
  • CodeRunner now supports templates that are packages.

  • New calibration values for BARS 15002 "calculated temperature" sensor.
