Problem
In Data Search, I have selected a data source and data product, but when I click Add to Cart it tells me:
Error: no data available for the selected type.Check that the requested time range overlaps with the deployment or available time range
and modify the requested time range accordingly, or deselect and try different data product(s).
Solution
Check Device Details to make sure you have selected a data source that was deployed and working for your time period of interest.
Example:- You want hydrophone data from the Strait of Georgia recorded on 1 Oct 2017
- Choosing Ocean Sonics icListen AF Hydrophone 2523 you see three deployments:

- Click the Details link to see the history of that particular instrument:

- Choose a deployment period when your instrument of interest was deployed in the water (not in the lab).
- Sometimes data are not available even though a device may have been deployed in water. Check the annotations to see if the instrument was not working or offline for your period of interest:
