This data product is the manufacturer format for the WetLabs AC9 generated by the WETView software. The ac-9 measures the absorption and attenuation of 9 different wavelengths of light. The file begins with a 31-line header followed by the data. The lines are described below.
Line 1: Header line. Identifies the version of the program that created the file, and the time and date of creation.
Lines 2–30: Is formatted to match the configuration file (.dev format). These lines contain the calibration information and channel configuration that was used while collecting the data.
Line 31: Collection bin size. The number of samples that were averaged into each bin during collection
Line 32 onward are lines of data. Each line of the data starts with a zero-based time stamp, given in milliseconds. The rest of the fields on the line are the data from the device. The data is given as absorption values, after referencing, calibration and temperature correction. Additionally, some lines are reference lines, which have additional information appended to the data line. Reference values are raw values; so no scaling or calibration is applied to them. See line 32 in the sample data below for an example reference line.
