Cameras in the NEPTUNE Regional Network run on schedules. When lights are turned on, you can watch live video from many of the cameras installed on the seafloor. Lights kept off to prevent light pollution in sensitive deep-sea ecosystems.
The Barkley Canyon POD 1 "SubAqua" camera is installed at the axis of Barkley Canyon next to the Pod 1 instrument platform at a depth of 985 m.
The Barkley Canyon Pod 2 "Dragonfish" camera is installed on Barkley Upper Slope at a depth of 393 m.
The other two cameras are installed in Barkley Canyon at depths of 894 and 986 m.
The Folger Pinnacle "Ocean Presence" ReefCam is located in a rockfish conservation zone near Bamfield, British Columbia. When lights are turned on, the sea life at Folger is seen in vivid colours. When lights are off, the ambient light conditions of the reef are seen as light filters through the water column to 23 m below sea level. At night, the video is dark. Lights are turned on twice every day, 8:00-8:45 AM and 12:00-12:45 PM Pacific Time.

During the data package sending, what kind of cameras does generate UDP data packages?

There are several types of cameras on our networks. However we are trying to make sure they all send their data using the H.264 format, which internally should use UDP for data transport (to be verified). The throughput can be different for each of them, depending on the compression rate that is used. If more details are needed, we'd need to ask the system group to tell us what data rate is produced by each camera.

First of all thank you very much for your answer,
The data rates for each instruments are what I have been searching for a long time. Also I got the sample data rates for each instruments in my simulation demo by looking at the ocean 2.0 website but there are many different data rates for each instrument. I asked Maia and she was going to ask the question to the system crew but she has been away for a long time. Also I have been told that only cameras and hyrophones are using UDP protocol while the data transmission, I would be more than happy, if you confirm this situation otherwise would be great if somebody can inform me about which instruments are using only or frequently UDP protocol.
My second question is that during the data transfer, what kind of queue do the routers use?
