Manual Scalar QAQC Results

These files contain manual QAQC flagging submitted by scientific data specialists on the Data Analytics & Quality team. These data have been set based on knowledge of common instrument failure events such as 'stuck' sensors, CTD conductivity plugs, pCO2 excursions, and other errant device failures.

Formats

.qaqc files are in CSV format. Each line contains 5 elements:

  1. Start time in UTC of the flagging in YYYYMMDDThhmmss.fff format
  2. Stop time in UTC of the flagging in YYYYMMDDThhmmss.fff format
  3. Flag value to set. Common flags set are 2 (probably good), 3 (probably bad), 4 (bad), and 1 (good, used infrequently as an override of previous flagging)
  4. QAQC code '86' = manual
  5. Sensor ID
